Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about our titanium cookware, cooking technique, care, and ordering.
Products
What is titanium cookware?
Titanium cookware is made from titanium — a strong, lightweight, and chemically inert metal. Unlike most non-stick pans, which use a synthetic coating (typically PTFE) applied over an aluminium or steel base, uncoated titanium cookware has no coating at all. The cooking surface is the titanium metal itself.
Is titanium cookware PFAS-free?
Yes. Uncoated titanium cookware is solid metal with no synthetic coating. It does not contain PFAS, PTFE, or PFOA.
Do titanium pans work on induction?
Yes. Our titanium cookware is designed to work on all standard cooktops including induction, gas, electric, ceramic, and in the oven. You can test compatibility with a magnet — if it sticks to the base, the pan will work on induction.
Can I use metal utensils on titanium cookware?
Yes. Because there is no coating to scratch, metal spatulas, tongs, and whisks are safe to use on uncoated titanium cookware.
Is titanium cookware dishwasher-safe?
Yes. Uncoated titanium is inert and will not be damaged by dishwasher detergent or heat.
Cooking
Is titanium cookware non-stick?
Uncoated titanium is not "non-stick" in the PTFE sense. Food release depends on proper preheating and a small amount of oil — similar to stainless steel or well-seasoned cast iron. With proper technique, food releases well and the performance does not degrade over time.
How do I preheat a titanium pan?
Place the pan on low-medium heat for 2–3 minutes. Test with the water drop test — if water beads and skitters across the surface, the pan is ready. Add oil, let it shimmer, then add food.
Can I cook eggs on a titanium pan?
Yes. Preheat the pan on low-medium heat, add a small amount of oil or butter, and wait for the oil to shimmer before adding the eggs. Let the eggs set before trying to move them.
What is the maximum temperature for titanium cookware?
Titanium cookware tolerates very high heat — up to 1000°F / 540°C. This makes it suitable for searing, stir-frying, and oven cooking that would damage PTFE coatings.

Care & Maintenance
How do I clean titanium cookware?
Wash with warm water and dish soap after each use. Because there is no coating to protect, you can use abrasive sponges or steel wool. The pan is also dishwasher-safe. For stuck-on food, simmer water in the pan for a few minutes to loosen residue.
Does titanium cookware need seasoning?
No. Unlike cast iron or carbon steel, titanium does not require seasoning. The pan is ready to use out of the box.
Can titanium cookware go in the oven?
Yes. Titanium cookware is oven-safe up to 1000°F / 540°C, making it suitable for high-heat oven cooking.
